GM1 at Parkes

GM1 one our most significant heritage diesels has been sitting at Parkes since late 2016. This locomotive should be restored and place in either the National Rail museum in Adelaide or NSW rail museum at Thirlmere not in Perth where it is apparently going. GM1 never ran to Perth it spent its days with the Commonwealth Railway in S.A. or N.T.

Lets hope something can be done to rectify this before the vandals get to it.
