I bought the basic run down layout.
All the track and scenery were removed.
The new Peco track was laid on cork underlay.
New scenery was added
This is the site of the loco depot.
New structures were built from plastic kits
Signals were built and modified from plastic kits
New houses and small scenes were added
Hornby structures were added
Cars, people, trees were added
A new switchboard was built at the rear.
The finished result after about 18 months.
Down lights on a timber frame are above the layout.
I have a small N Scale model railway. It is English prototype. It consists of a main line with two passing loops and a junction that branches off the main line and winds its way up a hill over a timber tressle bridge to a small village and loco depot. I run Graham Farish rolling stock.
