New England Steam (& Diesel) Shuttles

Here are some photos of the Tamworth & Armidale steam weekends in August 2023. We begin with some shots at Quirindi and Werris Creek. Then there are shots of the various shuttle trips to Kootingal.  The following weekend the trains moved to Armidale for shuttle trips to Uralla. The combined trains then travelled back to Sydney and I have shots between Armidale and Tamworth. Be sure to check out my youtube channel. oztrains

Towrang/Wingello

 Towrang and Wingello are on the Southern line near Goulburn. I have only recently discovered this impressive stone viaduct. I have numerous railway photography books yet never seen any photos of trains at this location. I will return during the summer months with longer days. There is also a viaduct near Tallong so I will try there as well.
